Giovanni Castellarin Scholarship Fund

The GCSF was approved in 2005 by the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon (TIA Yukon) in memory of Giovanni Castellarin, owner of the Triple J Hotel in Dawson City and champion of tourism for the Klondike and the Yukon.

In May 2005, the Klondike Visitors Association (KVA) proposed to join TIA Yukon in this worthy endeavor.This scholarship is intended to assist Yukoners (youth and mature) entering post-secondary education in the field of Tourism or related studies. Two scholarships of $1000 each will be awarded to two full-time students every year.
