Fair Exchange Program
Offering fair rate of exchange to our American friends not only makes them feel welcome in the Yukon, it's also a great way to draw customers to your into your business. Visitors spend their money where they know they will get the best deal.
The Tourism Industry association of Yukon, in partnership with Whitehorse and Yukon Chamber of Commerce, is administering a Yukon-wide Fair Exchange Program. The program offers an equitable Yukon-wide US exchange rate to visitors.

Spring Conference & Round Up Discount
TIA Yukon members are eligible for discounted rates to participate in TIA Yukon conferences in the spring and fall.
Dates: Tourism Industry Spring Conference: Mid to late April, annually.
TIA Yukon Fall Roundup: Mid-October, Annually.
Tourism Times Advertising
The Tourism Times is a quarterly 4-page insert in the Yukon news produced by TIA Yukon. This is an excellent vehicle for TIAY members to promote their business, new ventures, upcoming events, conferences or fundraising activities.
Cost per ad:
1/8 page 2 columns x 4 inches for $80 + gst
1/4 page 2 columns x 7 inches for $150 + gst
1/4 page 3 columns x 5 inches for $150 + gst
1/2 page 3 columns x 11 ½ inches for $300 + gst
1/2 page 5 columns x 7 ½ inches for $300 + gst

TIA Yukon Internet Link Service
Link your business’ home page to TIA Yukon’s home page. Provide your site address to the office and we’ll link you through our on-line membership directory.
Vacation Planner Advertising Discount
This annual government publication is the Yukon’s primary marketing tool distributed to 300,000 visitors and members of the travel trade worldwide. TIA Yukon members receive a 10% discount on display ads and descriptive listings in the Yukon Vacation Guide, saving tens to hundreds of dollars.

Brochure Display Service
Location, location, location! The historic White Pass train station is an ideal spot to display your business brochures. Many visitors drop by the train depot daily for tourist information and look through the brochures on display. To advertise your business, drop off 50 copies of your brochure to the TIA Yukon Office, upstairs in the White Pass train station.
