2011 BOARD ELECTIONS
The TIA Yukon Board of Directors is comprised of 6 industry-elected sector seats and 6 appointed seats representing our partner designated organizations. Only industry-elected directors may run for an Officer Position.
If you would like more information about serving on the TIA Yukon Board of Directors, including scope of work, roles and responsibilities and how the Board works for industry, please contact executive director Krista Prochazka at krista.prochazka@tiayukon.com or 867-668-8021 for more information.
To be nominated to the board, you must be:
- a member in good standing with TIA Yukon or with one of our partner designated organizations; and
- be in the sector for which you are letting your name stand, i.e. transportation sector runs for transportation seat.
In 2011, the following three (3) Sector Seats are up for election:

Accommodations, Food & Beverage
- Adventure & Winter Product
- Tourism Services
In 2011, the following four (4) Officer Positions are up for election:
- Chair
- First Vice Chair
- Second Vice Chair
- Secretary/Treasurer
You can nominate a member in good standing for any of the open seats by sending your nomination in advance to the TIA Yukon office at krista.prochazka@tiayukon.com or you can nominate from the floor during the elections process at the AGM.
PROXY
Voting members may designate another voting member as their proxy at the 2011 Annual General Meeting.
Proxy forms are available here or upon request to the TIA Yukon office in advance of the 2011 Annual General Meeting. No member may hold more than two (2) proxies at any one (1) meeting.
